Proper before and aftercare is essential to achieve the best possible results from your facial treatment and to keep your skin calm, balanced, and protected. Please read the following carefully before your appointment.
Before Your Facial
To prepare your skin and avoid unnecessary sensitivity, please follow these guidelines:
- Avoid active skincare (including Vitamin A/retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, exfoliating acids, or scrubs) for 3–5 days prior to your appointment.
- Avoid excessive sun exposure, tanning beds, or sunburn before your treatment.
- Do not wax, thread, or use hair removal creams on the face at least 7 days prior.
- Avoid saunas, steam rooms, or swimming pools for 24 hours before your appointment.
- Arrive with clean skin where possible (no heavy makeup).
- Please inform your skin therapist if you:
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Have any skin conditions, allergies, or sensitivities
- Are using prescription skincare or medications
- Have had recent cosmetic procedures (including injectables or laser)
Before Your PEEL Facial
If you are booked in for a peel treatment, please follow all of the above plus the following:
- Avoid all facial exfoliation — including chemical peels, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, and facial waxing — for 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
- Avoid saunas or swimming pools for 24 hours before your appointment.
- Let your skin therapist know if you have recently had Botox, filler, or experienced any health-related changes.
After Your Facial
Your skin may feel refreshed, hydrated, and slightly flushed — this is normal. To support healing and maximise results:
- Avoid makeup for 12 hours post-treatment.
- Avoid saunas, steam rooms, intense exercise, and swimming for 24 hours.
- Do not exfoliate or use active products for 3–5 days, unless advised otherwise by your therapist.
- Keep skin hydrated and follow the home-care advice recommended for you.
- Apply SPF 30+ or higher daily, even if indoors or cloudy.
After Your PEEL Facial
Peel treatments require extra care to protect the skin barrier and prevent pigmentation:
- Avoid sun exposure for a minimum of 24 hours, and refrain from excessive sun exposure for 8 weeks following your last treatment in a peel series.
- Avoid Vitamin A, AHAs, BHAs, exfoliants, or active skincare for 7 days.
- Avoid makeup for 12 hours.
- Apply SPF 30+ or above daily and reapply as needed.
- Do not receive Botox or filler for at least 30 days after your facial.
- Do not pick, peel, or scratch the skin if flaking occurs — this can cause irritation or pigmentation.
Important Note
